Lets face it. There are many people out there who are willing to compromise their integrity and steal other peoples accounts. The intent of this post, is to help you protect your account and make sure only you can access it.

The first part to owning a safe account is to choose a good password.  A good password is one that’s hard to guess, yet easy to remember. Too make your password even harder to guess, include both letters and numbers. Just don’t make it so complicated that you can’t remember it!  A good password would be something like asdfg135 or something along those lines. The example password of “asdfg135″ is fairly hard to guess but it is easy to remember. It is simply 5 consecutive keys on the keyboard (go ahead and look :P) with three consecutive odd numbers. An even better password would be something like fcd7h9ke2z which would be almost impossible to guess, but then again, you have to memorize that. The ideal password is something that is hard to guess, but easy for you to remember.

The next step to keeping your account safe is to NOT GIVE YOUR PASSWORD TO ANYONE. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, give your password to anyone, even if they claim to be part of the Millsberry staff or that you will get free items or millsbucks. IT IS A SCAM! There are a lot of nasty people just waiting for you to hand over your password. No matter what claims they may make, NEVER give out your password to ANYBODY. Millsberry Staff will NEVER ask for your password. This is straight from the millsberry police department that outlines the key concepts:

“2. Don’t ever give out your password to anyone (on or off the Millsberry.com site).
Millsberry.com staff members will not ask you for your password, and we will NEVER e-mail you to get your password. Watch out for fake login screens—some people may copy our login box and post it on their personal web pages to trick people into entering their user names and passwords. Look at the URL—if it says anything other than www.Millsberry.com, DO NOT enter your user information”

Now that you know how to pick a safe password and keep your password safe, lets look at some scams to watch out for.

This is an example of someone offering to get you lots of millsbucks if you give them your username and password. Obviously, they just want to steal your account so do not fall for it!

Another common scam occurs when people act helpful and claim they will be able to earn trophies for you. In more cases than not, this is just a ruse to get your account information.

Likewise, people also try to scam by pretending to be or to know a millsberry staff member. They claim if you give your password, they can make you rich. Don’t fall for this scam either.

That’s all to picking a good password and to avoid being scammed. Pretty much, if someone asks for your password, DON’T give it. It is a scam!
